About Trade House

“…Come as you are. We’re glad to have you. And like Salem itself, we’re proud to be a bit old, a little new, and full of stories.”

Trade House Salem is built on the idea that good food and a cold drink can bring people together. Our name tips the hat to Salem’s past as a bustling port town, where goods—and stories—came in from all over the world. We’re proud to carry that spirit forward in a spot that’s always been a place for locals—and visitors— to gather.

This building has seen it all. It was once a neighborhood provisions store in the early 1900s, later a beloved local watering hole. We’re proud to carry that torch, bringing the cozy, familiar vibe people love, while serving up something fresh.

Our menu is made with fresh ingredients, sourced locally when we can, and packed with crowd favorites. Whether you’re grabbing a beer after work, catching up with friends, or just looking for a solid meal, you’ll find a seat at Trade House.

This place is for the people who live here, the ones just passing through, and everyone in between. Come as you are. We’re glad to have you. And like Salem itself, we’re proud to be a bit old, a little new, and full of stories.
